I. General Information
Start Time: August 30th, 7:30AM
Location: At the junction of US 95 and the bottom of Lee Road (SR-156)
Registration: Register online at www.sportsbaseonline.com and McGhies Ski-Bike-Board.
USCF points awarded.
Race Type: Mass start
Parking: Parking will be available at the start and finish of the race course.

II. Packet Pickup and Late Registration Location
Packet Pickup and last day registration will take place at McGhie’s Ski-Bike-Board, located at 4035 S. Fort Apache, Las Vegas (702) 252-8077. www.mcghies.com.
and will be from noon to 7:00 PM. There is no same day registration.

No refunds on registration fees due to cancellation after the early deadline on Aug. 15th.

III. Timing and Race Numbers
Please wear your race number on the left side of your jersey. We will have an example displayed for you during packet pick up and on race day.

IV. Race Start and Staging
All race participants will start at 7:30am

V. Course Notes
The climb will begin at 3,326 feet at the base of SR-156 and end 17.5 miles up Lee Canyon at 8,677 feet, near the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort. Each participant will stay to the far right, except when passing another rider is required. Crossing of the center line will result in rider disqualification. Drafting is permitted as this years event is a mass start. There are two neutral feed zones.

VI. Race Results and Awards Ceremony
Race results will be posted at10AM. An awards ceremony will take place near the finish of the course.

VII. Other Information
Per NDOT and your own safety, riders will not be allowed to warm up on the road. Trainers will be required for all warm up.
Helmets must be worn whenever riding your bicycle or you will be disqualified.
Highs will be in the 60’s, so bring warm clothes for after the ride. We will have a service at the start to bring your post-ride clothes to the top. They must be in a labeled back pack.
Portable restrooms will be available at the top (finish) and at the bottom (start).
Cycling Festival and hot breakfast will be waiting for you, your family and friends at the top of the mountain.
Each participant of the “Kids Race” will receive a prize.
